The Sony Xperia X1 mobile phone features an amazingly responsive touchscreen that has a resolution of 800 x 480. This means full web browsing! It also sports a mouse pad for navigating around. Its a novel concept in mobiles and time will tell if this is useful or wither or not we will stick to using the touchscreen itself. Browsing should be fast as it sports HSDPA as well as HSUPA connectivity.
The mobile phone is loaded with the latest windows mobile 6.1 operating system and has a slide out keyboard for easy typing. This looks set to be a killer smartphone! The only issue we have is that the camera won't be as fully featured as the Sony Cybershot camera phones. Saying that though we have heard that photos look stunning on the X1's high resokution screen, so we will have to wait and see!
We expect that this device will accept the Memory Stick M2 memory cards up to 8GB (And no doubt eventually 16GB - watch this space!)
